Records and practice operations

Add clinical support to your existing system. HolistiCare is clinical decision-support infrastructure, not an EHR. Retain a suitable system for records and practice operations. [1]

Healthie is a cloud EHR and practice-management platform. Charting tools include templates, smart fields and group notes. [5][8]

Scheduling and billing

Keep the operational foundation in view. The reviewed sources do not establish HolistiCare as a replacement for appointment scheduling, invoicing or insurance claims. [1][4]

Healthie supports self-booking, calendar synchronisation, invoicing, packages and recurring payments. Insurance tools depend on plan and add-ons. [5][9][10]

Clinical plan creation

Connect findings to clinician-reviewed actions. Modular plans draw on clinical and lifestyle inputs, link recommendations to rationale and monitoring cadence, and remain editable by clinicians. [2]

Care plans support tailored recommendations, goals, documents and journaling settings. Templates can be applied to clients or groups; chart-note content can be imported into recommendations. [6]

Communication and follow-up

Give ongoing care a structure. Daily tasks and configurable check-ins support patient-reported information, device signals, alerts and follow-up routing. Confirm channels and plan scope. [2][3][4]

Secure patient messaging, scheduled messages, telehealth, journaling and care plans support engagement. Essentials adds group/blast messaging; Plus adds group telehealth and programs. [5][6][11]

Team workflow

Coordinate clinical responsibilities. Clinic and Enterprise list multidisciplinary task assignment, team routing and clinical approval workflows. [4]

Group adds shared calendars, roles and permissions, internal team chat and additional provider accounts, alongside the EHR. [5]

Connections and implementation

Scope the data flow before adding another platform. File imports and Apple Health are listed across plans; custom connections are limited on Clinic, with HL7/FHIR feeds under Enterprise. [4]

Healthie publishes an integration ecosystem. Its API is an add-on for Group and Enterprise. API availability does not establish a ready-made HolistiCare connection. [7]

Frequently asked questions

HolistiCare should not be treated as a replacement for Healthie’s EHR, scheduling or billing. It is not an electronic health record. If those are your main requirements, assess Healthie against a full operational checklist. HolistiCare is relevant when you need clinical decision support and clinician-reviewed plans with structured follow-up alongside an appropriate practice system. [1][2][3][5]

It may be worth evaluating when Healthie handles your records and operations, while your team needs a different approach to turning clinical and lifestyle inputs into editable plans and monitoring rules. First test whether Healthie’s existing care plans, goals and journaling already meet that need. [2][3][6]

Using both is a workflow option, not a verified integration. Agree which system holds the authoritative record, who approves and updates plans, where patients receive instructions, and how information moves. Duplicate entry, conflicting plans, two patient interfaces and extra subscriptions may outweigh the benefit.

HolistiCare’s annual monthly rates are £51 Team, £300 Clinic and £525 Enterprise, with the base prepaid for 12 months. Extra seats and profiles retain monthly rates without an annual discount. Team and Clinic offer a 7-day trial arranged through the team. [4]

Healthie publishes annual-billing monthly rates of $18 Core, $45 Essentials, $115 Plus and from $135 Group, and a 14-day Plus trial without a credit card. Additional providers, payment processing, insurance connections and API access can add cost. Essentials lists ClaimMD integration from $30/month. Confirm renewal, cancellation, tax and implementation terms before purchasing. [5][7]

No native HolistiCare–Healthie integration was verified in the reviewed sources. Healthie’s API is an add-on for Group and Enterprise; HolistiCare’s connection options depend on plan and scope. Neither establishes a supported connection between these specific products. [4][7]

Ask both vendors to confirm supported fields, direction, identifiers, permissions, updates, fees and maintenance responsibilities. Test the agreed workflow with sample information before relying on it.

Use one sample journey: intake, appointment, chart note, clinical review, patient plan, follow-up and billing. Check where information is entered, who approves it, what the patient sees and how corrections reach both systems. Verify required plans, provider accounts, active-client or profile limits, data export and onboarding scope.
